Top Abacus Trial Lesson and Enrollment Policy Trial Lesson Package The $50 trial package includes two online lessons, all learning materials, one high-quality abacus, and shipping. The abacus will be shipped before the trial lessons and is yours to keep. Refund Policy The $50 trial package fee is non-refundable. Once payment has been made and preparation or shipping begins, we cannot issue refunds—even if you decide not to attend or discontinue after the first lesson. Trial Lesson Scheduling Families can select available trial lesson dates through our online booking calendar. Trial lessons do not need to be on the same day as regular classes after enrollment. You may reschedule once by notifying the teacher no later than 12:00 PM Pacific Time on the original lesson day. (All scheduling and deadlines follow Pacific Time.) Eligibility Trial lessons are available to students age 5 and older who can read, recognize, and write numbers 1 through 10. Each student may take only one trial lesson package. Enrollment Process After the second trial lesson, we will send an Enrollment Agreement and Registration Form. You can secure your preferred class time by completing enrollment within one week of the second trial lesson. After completing your enrollment, we will mail the Beginner Level textbooks. The initial payment includes one month’s tuition plus the $150 enrollment fee (covering Beginner materials and shipping). Payment method: Zelle Communication We communicate with parents primarily by email, WhatsApp, or LINE for lesson updates, scheduling, and parent support. Privacy and Data Use Top Abacus does not sell or share your personal information. Parents can choose whether to permit Top Abacus to use student photos or videos in promotional or educational materials through the Top Abacus Classroom Enrollment and Media Consent Form. Safety and Conduct We ask parents to treat every online lesson as an actual classroom environment. Please help your child focus by providing a quiet, distraction-free space and avoiding conversation during class. This helps students fully engage and show respect to the teacher and learning process.
